It boots the Plasma Bigscreen session automatically and includes Kodi, VLC, hardware-accelerated Raspberry Pi media packages, DVD/CD tools, music players, streaming tools, and media authoring utilities. The build publishes raw, directly writable disk images, not an ISO. For `x86_64` it creates separate UEFI/GRUB and legacy-BIOS/GRUB images. The `aarch64` artifact uses UEFI/GRUB and is intended for 64-bit Raspberry Pi firmware. The published names are stable and contain no build timestamp: ```text onixos-tv-edition-x86_64-uefi.img onixos-tv-edition-x86_64-legacy.img onixos-tv-edition-aarch64-raspberry-pi.img ``` Build targets are selected by `ARCH`: ```text ARCH=x86_64 ARCH=aarch64 ``` `mkarchiso` is a build-worker dependency only; it is not installed into the TV image. The profile's public build output is always the raw `.img` file(s) listed above. The default Plasma Bigscreen session user is `oltv`. After boot, run `sudo oltv-config` from a terminal to open the curses-based TV configuration tool. It manages: - user name, display name, password and SDDM autologin; - NetworkManager Wi-Fi and Ethernet DHCP setup; - optional applications such as Steam, Discord and RetroArch; - Chromium full-screen web apps for sites such as YouTube or TV+; - audio, Bluetooth, display and default media-player settings; - TV tuner detection through V4L-DVB and disk/root filesystem expansion. The image includes V4L-DVB userspace tools and VLC's DVB plugin. If the kernel/firmware exposes a tuner under `/dev/dvb` or `/dev/video*`, the tuner screen reports it and Kodi/VLC can use it. Vendor-specific firmware or third-party Kodi PVR add-ons remain optional because they depend on the hardware and service provider. When the image boots in live mode, `oltv-config` stores the resulting config under the writable boot partition and `oltv-config-restore.service` restores it before SDDM starts. An existing persistent config is never replaced by the profile default.
